Malfunctions in pipeline valves can also affect the supply of exhaust gas. Valves that are not fully opened, valve cores that are stuck, or seals that are not tight can all prevent the smooth delivery of exhaust gas. In addition, the composition and concentration of exhaust gas are also crucial for generator start-up. If the proportion of combustible components in the exhaust is too low or too much non combustible gas is mixed in, and the calorific value does not meet the starting standard, the generator will also refuse to "work".

The abnormal condition of mechanical components is another major factor hindering the start of the generator. If key components such as pistons, crankshafts, connecting rods, etc. inside the engine are worn or stuck, it will directly affect the normal operation of the engine. After long-term use, the piston rings wear severely, resulting in a decrease in cylinder sealing and insufficient compression ratio, which cannot meet the conditions required for fuel combustion and thus cannot start. The deformation of the crankshaft or connecting rod due to uneven force can increase the resistance to engine operation, making it difficult for the starter motor to drive its rotation. In addition, if the transmission system of the generator, such as belts, chains, etc., becomes loose or broken, it cannot effectively transmit power and can also cause the generator to fail to start.
冷却与润滑系统故障虽不直接影响启动,但长期异常会使发电机内部温度过高、摩擦增大,最终导致无法启动。冷却系统若存在冷却液泄漏、散热器堵塞、水泵故障等问题,会使发动机在运转前就处于高温状态,各部件因热膨胀出现配合间隙变化,增加启动阻力,甚至可能因高温损坏部件。润滑系统同样关键,机油量不足、机油变质、机油泵故障等,会使发动机内部部件得不到良好润滑,摩擦加剧,产生大量热量和磨损,久而久之,导致发动机无法正常启动。
Although the failure of the cooling and lubrication system does not directly affect the start-up, long-term abnormalities can cause the internal temperature of the generator to become too high and friction to increase, ultimately leading to the inability to start. If the cooling system has problems such as coolant leakage, radiator blockage, water pump failure, etc., it will cause the engine to be in a high temperature state before operation, resulting in changes in the fitting clearance of various components due to thermal expansion, increasing starting resistance, and even possibly damaging components due to high temperature. The lubrication system is equally critical. Insufficient oil volume, oil deterioration, and oil pump failure can cause poor lubrication of internal components of the engine, increase friction, generate a large amount of heat and wear, and over time, lead to the engine being unable to start normally.
